The superpower of modern times, the United States of America, is very different from any other country in its ways. There is a piece of every nation here, altogether forming a unique cultural mosaic in the society. This melting pot of civilizations has the biggest influence on pop culture of all the modern world. Don't think you've seen it on TV or movies either because the real experience is far more interesting.
The USA occupies the North American continent along with Canada. The land reaches from Atlantic Ocean to Pacific Ocean. It is one of the largest and most populated countries in the world yet still offers very high standards for the citizens. That, is an astonishing achievement, no less...
This authenticity should be due to the unique principals of the countries foundation. As we all know America is a country that was formed by mass immigration. There are people from every region of every country here, each brought along a piece of their culture and traditions from their homeland and contributed to the huge mosaic with their tiny tiles. Altogether, a culture of America's own was combined and created. Every residential area, every "commune" from little towns to cosmopolitan cities has its unique way here, the variety is unbelievable. This, along with the natural diversity offered by the vast land, sums up to an experience that cannot be completely uncovered in one trip. Most wise choice should be one city or one state at a time. So first thing to do, has to be choosing which type of travel that intrigues you the most. History buffs would go for the old colonial towns and gabled churches of New England. This region is on the north-east tip of the country, and is closest to Europe and so, was among the first to be settled on.
Some of the most popular and populated cities such as New York or Washington D.C. are on the east shores, the Mid-Atlantic region. We highly recommend the D.C. area called "the mall" that is home to the great museums, memorials and monuments of American history and culture as well as today's government buildings. The White House, the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, the Air and Space Museum, the National Museum of Natural History and many more are all here.
The south is well known with its hospitality. These regions are the birthplace of blues, jazz, rock, country music! And let's not forget the three magical letters "BBQ" aka barbecue. Unique sauces really take the low cooked meats to whole new levels. Just thinking about it gives me chills here..
Florida is the tourists' paradise. Attractions of Orlando, the Disney World and Universal Studios are enough reason to jump on a plane in this instant. Adding to the desirability is the stunning beaches of Miami. The weather pattern is mostly tropical here and is never cold. That is why, elders love to move to Florida to spend their retirement.
The Great Plains and Rocky Mountains cover the inland regions and reach from Canada down south to Texas. The spectacular views of snow covered mountains, forests and national parks all provide great opportunities for hiking, camping or rafting. They sound perfect for natura-tourism, don't they? The cliff face in Mount Rushmore on which former presidents faces were carved on, is a must see location.
Another of the most popular destination should be the state of California. It is situated on the west coast or the USA and borders Mexico on the south side. The cultural influence of Spanish and Mexican cultures create a very interesting community here. On these Pacific Coasts there are many amazing hotels and resorts for the summer tourism. The cosmopolitan cities of Los Angeles and San Fransisco are in this state. They really do not need much description. Just the words "Hollywood" and "Golden Gate Bridge" will be sufficient.
The desert starts from the East of California. You have to rent a car and drive from California to the City of Neon, Las Vegas in Nevada and see the luxurious casinos with your own eyes! Even if you aren't the gambler, the shows performed in this city cannot be matched by any place else in the whole world! And while you're at it, why not go south and visit the magnificent Grand Canyon in the state of Arizona. The sight is just breathtaking.
Each of these locations feel more intriguing than the last. And in each, there are many unique opportunities that you definitely won't forget a lifetime. You can take "a tour of USA on a Harley" or just drive the historical Route 66 on an American muscle car, listening to "Highway to Hell". Or you can enjoy blues tunes in exquisite clubs in the southern states. Alaska offers whale watching opportunities and on the contrast to frosty Alaska, summer tourists will be well catered in tropical paradise, Hawaii. The absolute best thing about the USA is that these people know how to present the attractions to the tourist. Thanks to the competitiveness of the market, in everywhere you go, on everything you want to do, you will find various options and facilities that are well focused and offer quality service according to your budget. It is served so that you won't miss anything.
The weather patterns are very different in every regions. One thing to note though, is the Hurricanes. It is best to do your research before you set off.
The busy cities attract a lot of tourism too. And as we mentioned earlier, people from so many different cultures brought traditions of their homeland with them. This creates a rich array of variety, whether in specialty restaurants or shopping. In the metropolitan cities, you'll easily find regional food from countries that you haven't heard of, as long as you're willing to explore. You can of course, go all American and order your T-bone steak with your beer too. In fact, we definitely urge you to do that...
The USA combines everything it has in a very sensible way and and present it in a very good package. The number of options is endless, one should definitely be for you.
